Anti-cheat is not a magical shield that permanently stops cheaters. Even if they could, hardware ID's can also be changed. This is also why suggestions like hardware ID bans are not very useful, as browsers can not detect this. Cheaters are able to clean up the local storage or change their IP, and then continue to play. This is usually done thru IP, some hidden local storage and maybe some other ineffective tricks. Why can you not permanently ban cheaters? A browser has very limited capabilities of 'identifying' individuals. Why can't we call KPD on guests? All a guest cheater needs to do is refresh their page and they can play again, flooding KPD calls with guest reports really just is a waste of time. While client side cheats are still terrible, having proper server-side protection does show a level of care.Ĭheaters will sadly never be fully gone from the game sadly, more on that in the upcoming FAQ: Server side cheats like flying, invincibility, invisibility, infinite ammo/shooting while reloading or like in Battlefield 1's case, being able to game ban other players are not possible on krunker.
